Lesley Charnock


Lesley is regularly invited by various art societies as a guest artist to demonstrate painting. She has illustrated three popular children’s books. "My favourite medium became acrylics - I still use this as my main medium, even though I experiment with many textures and materials to produce mixed media art works. I try to create a visual experience open to the onlooker's interpretation as well as décor pieces for everyone’s enjoyment."

A vibrant and prolific artist, whose energetic works excite both the public and gallery owners. Ann constantly explores new ways and dynamics in painting and subject matter. Her quirky, humorous, yet profound insightful art asks questions that provoke the viewer to seek answers to. Through her painting of the sheep, Ewe, she seeks to "examine the life of you/Ewe the observer, and hope, through humour, to get Ewe/you the viewer, to question why you do what you do and push you to challenge your beliefs and understanding of reality."

Dragana Jevtovic


Dragana Jevtovic was born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia where she studied Art and Philosophy at the University of Belgrade, before moving to Cape Town in 1993. Inspired by Africa, Dragana sculpts and decorates each unique piece of art by hand, making her ceramics some of the most desires pieces in the country. Apart from being oven proof, dishwasher and microwave safe, they are a joy to look at and a pleasure to use.

Gavin Collins


Gavin, one of South Africa's top selling artists, was born in Cape Town on May 30th, 1971. He had his first sell-out exhibition at the age of 14. Gavin is a versatile artist having mastered all styles in oil painting. He is particularly concerned with the expression of movement in his paintings. International and local collectors snap up his works as they are completed. He enjoys his constant inspiration for new work, as his love for painting is undying.

"I have painted on and off throughout my life. However the recent sale of my business freed me up to commit considerably more time to my art. My goal is to communicate with the viewer through my paintings by using as few strokes as possible that say as much as possible. It's about capturing my response to the subject in such a way that you, the viewer, sense what it is I am trying to say. This is hopefully done by trying to capture my emotional response to the subject in paint rather than 'trying to make a petal out of paint'!"

Salome Briers


Salome was born in the sixties in Paarl and grew up on a wine farm where she got a lot of inspiration for her paintings. Salomè is easily influenced by her direct environment with bright colors and likes to paint with thick paint and vigorous brush strokes. She had numerous exhibitions in South Africa and has also exported works to as far as Australia, Europe, USA and North Africa etc.

Cornelia Brand


Cornelia designs innovative & stylish art for the retail market, including galleries, interior designers, export orders, collectors & the individual art lover. "My paintings are a reflection of my complex personality. It adds meaning to my life and colour to those of others. As a child, I used to love wondering off on my own and just absorb and observe the immense space before me. My paintings are always related to an emotional memory. It could be the textures of an object, or the magic of light and color that provokes and motivates me."

Gary Frier


Born in 1972, Gary is an accomplished artist with works in private and corporate collections in South Africa and in Europe. In his own words: "I find inspiration in many forms of media well as subject. Creating art for me is about constantly reflecting on my place in the world, discovering how to distill and interpret my interaction with what surrounds me, and documenting that personal relationship."

Chanelle Kotze


Chanelle is a self taught artist from Cape Town. She discovered her talent in 2004, and since then has spent most of her time painting. In 2005 she started painting fulltime, and has since sold over 350 paintings. "My artwork doesn't have specific meanings or reasons, it is all decorative. It is about focusing on the simplicity of certain objects. Appreciating the beauty of creation." Channel's contribution to the ball is the original artwork for 19 of her greeting cards.

Michele Batchelder


Born in Namibia in 1958 - now a resident of Hillcrest, KwaZulu Natal. At the age of 15 Michele undertook a 3 year course of study in fine art, majoring in painting and ceramics. Michele's paintings have sold to collectors worldwide. She has also been commissioned to create paintings which grace the walls of boardrooms, offices & hotels.
